About Mike

Mike grew up in Coquitlam, British Columbia. He got in cycling with friends in the spoke series 7 years ago. Mike began track cycling in 2004, as a way to train for mountain bike racing. Mike joined lactic acid the local cycling team in Coquitlam in late 2005. In 2006 he started road racing as a first year junior, qualifying for road and track national championships. For the 2007 season Mike joined dEVo, and focused on road/track cycling.

Outside of racing

Mike is a student at Douglas College currently studying criminology. When not training or racing Mike spends most his time mountain biking either at the local dirt jumps, or up on the trails.
