POITRAS 2nd AT BC TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

August 6, 2005 - Squamish, BC

The BC Time Trial Championships were held in Squamish on a relatively flat out and back 38.5km course with a deceivingly difficult final 2km rise to the finish. Having chosen to do the course on my fixed gear track bike, this last 2km was certainly a challenge! I completed the course in 53min 10.7sec, just 10.5sec out of 1st place taken by Erinne Willock who will be representing Canada at the World Championships in September.
