Commonwealth Games Update

We just arrived in Melbourne a couple of days ago to get ourselves settled into the Athlete's Village. The opening ceremonies will be on March 15 with track racing to commence on the 16th. CBC will apparently be airing an hour of highlights each day at 3pm (EST I believe).

Prior to arriving in Melbourne I was at the final World Cup of the season in Sydney. Unfortunately a bug has been running through our entire team and many of our performances suffered as a result. We all seem to be on the mend now and are looking forward to some solid training before the Games start next week.

Celebrations have already begun around the city and schools will be shutting down for then entire duration of the Games in order to free up transportation services.
