Tuesdays rock. Only some Tuesdays, mind you: May through August. The September-April Tuesdays are just a waste of time. Because only on those very special May-August Tuesdays do you get to race the WORLD TUESDAY NIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS!
If you're wondering why the WTNC series is so popular, I'd like to point out that it is a championship series, and that it has "world" in its name. Technically, it's not a world championship. It just feels like one when you win. More importantly, your non-cycling friends won't understand the nuances, so just tell them you're the world champion of Tuesday, and they'll be really impressed. Tell them Category 4 is a really good category, too. It works for me!
The theme this year is "no changes." We're using the same course. The cost is the same super-cheap $5 (+$10 number fee for your first race =$15) as last year. It's still "shine only" (rain=no race).
