So we're nearly ready for the BC TT Championships. Are you? One key detail: The sign-up tent will be in the Tradex parking lot. That is also where you can park, and they have nice, non porta-potty washrooms there. There will be NO on-course parking.

Tradex is about 3 km of easy riding to the start-finish. Here's the directions from Tradex to race start:

And since we're clearing up details, here's some more info: yes, you can do the TT on a tandem. We got this question, and while we can't guarantee you'll get a separate class, we'll definitely let you start and get a time. But if you're interested, we're pretty sure you'll have at least one competitor.

Another thing: please pay attention to the starter's instructions and the details regarding the start-finish turn around. Those of you riding the 40 km course (most of you) will be responsible for remembering that you turn around before the finish on your first lap, and ride straight through to the finish on your second lap. The details for the TTT and ITT are slightly different, so please check those [PDF] diagrams. We will try to keep track of which lap you are on, but it is your own responsibility to make the right turn at the right time. Don't be like Sven Kramer. Also, please respect the neutral no-passing zones at the turn-arounds: do NOT be the person who finds out how willing we are to disqualify violators!
